Never let one slip pass the goalie...
I happened to be talking with a friend about the morning after pill (Plan B, Emergency Contraception, whatever you want to call it) and they asked why would someone spend money on something like that. I had to think for a minute and I came up with this; that $50 is a good investment.
Think about it:
- Department of Agriculture says that it costs close to $500,000 to raise a child, not including college. More than likely, that's just the bare necessities, so the number could easily get as high as a 750K.
- If is happens to be a one night stand, you're forever indebted to a bitch/nigga or a bitch nigga that you barely know for the rest of your life.
- Plan B, or one of its off brand counterparts, doesn't exceed $70.
- A 12 pack of condoms, Magnum I hope, is about $25.
- Birth control, mine in particular, can cost about $60.
Now if I had the choice between spending about $155, or $500K and having to give someone that "Hey, I'm pregnant" call/text? I'll chose that $155 every time.
Stewie said it best in the episode "Brian's Got a Brand New Bag":
