As you know I'm going to Denver, so you already know that I need some music to listen to while on the plane. Unfortunately, the battery on my iPod is eternatlly dead; I can only use it when it's plugged into an outlet. When I got the iPhone 4 back in October, I gave my old phone to Claude so that he could use it as an iPod for the gym. Today I got my OiP (original iPhone) back and my cousin happened to ask me if she could have it. I told her that I just got it back today and that she could get it when I return from Denver. Later on, my Mom asked me how I felt after seeing him for the first time since everything transpired. I replied that I was fine and that it will become less awkward later on (we've decided to stay friends if you were wondering). This is where the conversation goes a lil left...
Sidebar: I have a box load of shit that's his: Christmas gifts, clothes he's left, movies and other miscellaneous stuff that had accumulated during the course of the relationship.
So my mom asks, "When are you taking that shit back?". I was so confused so I asked, "What are you talking about?", "His Christmas gift. Are you taking it back?". She had this frown on her face that was hilarious, I really wish I was able to get a picture of it...but I digress. I replied, "No, it's his. Plus, I've had it since November so they wouldn't take it back". My mom replied in a way that only she could reply, (if you've ever heard my Mom talk, she said this super fast and with her country accent) "If that was me I'd take that shit back. He wouldn't get a damn thing. That shit would go STRAIGHT back to the store. He wouldn't get shit from me!"
Only my Mom lol, I know she's only worried about my well being. I love her.
LMAO! Let him have it Carrie!
