My Favorite Songs (At the Moment)

As I stated in my first post, I effin love music. Even though Christmas has passed, I'm going to give you the greatest gift I could ever give you...auditory bliss!

The following 25 songs aren't placed in order by rank or anything like that, just happens to be a song that is within my frequently played 300 songs (Yeah I repeat songs that much).

You can't really appreciate a song unless you know where it came from. Oddly enough, it's the sample that made me listen to the song. I was on my way to work when the song played and instead of skipping, I listened just to see how effectively he used the sample...Good Job 'Le

I've loved this song for a couple of years now and I'll never forget when I first heard it. I was in the Express in Allendale (Rivertown Crossing) with my friend Ashlee while we were shopping for her bf's birthday present. I heard it and FLIP OUT, I made the associate go into the back and write down the artist and song title, I played it for two weeks straight.

Nothing gets me more relaxed than jazz. Ok that's a lie, sex is the number one thing, but jazz is an extremely close second! This song was featured in one of my favorite Spike Lee films of the same name.

This song reminds me of riding in the car with my dad, he's the reason I love jazz so much.

Mike has come an extremely long way. I remember the first time I heard him, I thought he sounded like Lloyd lol. I effin love this song. Someone told me to listen to it last week and I instantly fell in love, ah!

These songs make me think of sex, flat out lol

11.-13.
Foreign Exchange- Foreign Exchange End Theme
Foreign Exchange- Daydreamer
Little Brother- I Need You ft Darien Brockington
I love Little Brother & Foreign Exchange! I remember when I found out their third album had came out, I cried. No matter who's beat it is, 9th Wonder or Nicolay's, Phonte does the damn thing. Darien Brockington's voice does something to me, I can't explain it.

14. Kanye West- Blame Game
For personal reasons...this song is the bees knees right now

15-18.
Kid Cudi- My World
Kid Cudi- Solo Dolo
Kid Cudi- Hyyer ft. Chip Tha Ripper
Kid Cudi- Maniac

Cudi will always hold great memories for me because he provided the soundtrack of my last relationship. I would not recommend listening to Hyyer in the middle of the night on a highway, that's how I got a speeding ticket.

19. Amy Winehouse- In My Bed
One of my favorite songs of all time. I really need her to get off that shit and put out another album. I'm tired of listening to Frank and Back to Black whenever I'm going through a break-up lol

20.Civil Twilight- Letters From The Sky
The musicianship within this song is immaculate. Actually, this whole cd goes hard in the paint.

MSTRKRFT
- 21. Heartbreaker ft. John Legend
Its just a hot song lol.

22. N*E*R*D- Breakout
It's N*E*R*D, do I really have to say more? I do? Ok, the breakdown at the end makes my brain explode from the sheer greatness of it all

23. Slum Village- Look of Love
The second verse is hilarious. If you ever wondered where I got the "do you on my bearskin rug" saying from...this it the song lol. S-V all day baby.

24-25.
Jay Z- Can't Knock The Hustle ft. Mary J.

Jay Z- Party Life
Come on guy...it's Jay Z! I remember when I first saw the video for "Can't Knock The Hustle", I had the biggest crush on him lol (take your white wig off...don't judge me)
