Cee-Lo Green: The Lady Killer

You know how you download cd's and you never listen to them? That's what happened to Cee-Lo and his current album "The Lady Killer". I have every solo album and Gnarls Barkley album that he's put out and I absolutely love everyone. Now while I do like "The Lady Killer", it hasn't captured my heart as fast as the other ones did.

I happened to be listening to my phone Sunday night and the song "Love Gun" played. Immediately I fell in love with Lauren Bennett's voice. There's nothing spectacular about the way that she's singing the song, but for some reason, she tricked me into listening to the full album. After playing "Love Gun", I decided to listen to the album from the beginning. I wasn't really feeling anything until I reached track #5 which happens to be "Bodies"...I couldn't listen to anything else. I was stuck. Its so fucking sensual, but in a way that only Cee-Lo could do. I listened to Bodies on repeat for about an hour and skipped around and found some other songs that I liked. Nothing tops Bodies...but here you go, my current favs from The Lady Killer
