a crazy blogging bitch named Christin! Hello there people! How have you been? I know you're so curious about how my work-cation has been and here it is... TIRING!
I've been working every since the first moment I got here. We got off the plane and treked across the large ass airport for the shuttle headed towards the car rental. Once we got there. We found out that our boss reserved the cheapest car possible, a compact. Now I'm not saying that I'm not grateful that she bought and paid for the car, but come on! It's 4 people; 4 grown ass people at that, in a fucking Toyota Carolla.
When we get to the hotel, they only have one room ready (it's about 10 something) and we have to start researching our stores so we have an idea of what stores we should visit. So hear I am, jet lagged as shit, and calling Home Depot stores saying,
"Hello how are you? I'm Christin with US Remodelers and we're doing a survey. How would you classify your store? Would you say it's a slow, moderate or busy store?"
Yeah, I'm really doing research. So I go out into the field solo and was unable to sign my first lead until 5. The next one came soon there-after. It was a pretty good day over all. After we finally got back to the hotel, at 7:30-8...we were whipped. If you know me, even a little, you'd know I'm an insomniac...I was in the bed and in REM less than 20 min after Conan ended. I'd actually be asleep now but me and my roommate Angie happened to have a two hour conversation about any and everything. Tomorrow will be a much earlier day, we're supposed to be in the stores by 9:30 which means up by 7...I am so NOT a morning person, and neither is Angie (I'll post some pictures of her and the rest of the guys later).
Don't ask me what Denver looks like, because all I can say is that the mountains look pretty and that the Home Depot's here are huge lol. I have a couple of relative here who are going to take me out tomorrow and spoil me to death (hopefully they take me shopping! tee hee). Tomorrow I'll have a much more exciting post that's actually about Denver lol.
